User Data Deletion

HeyAssi is a personal assistant for tasks, reminders, lists, and calendar events that you control through WhatsApp, Telegram, and the HeyAssi web app. This page explains how to delete your data and how to disconnect any integration you previously connected.

1. Request full account deletion

To delete your HeyAssi account and all associated data, send an email from the address on your account to support@heyassi.biz with the subject line "Delete my HeyAssi account".

We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. Once deletion is complete, your account cannot be recovered.

2. What gets deleted

When we process a deletion request we permanently remove:

• Your account and profile (name, email, timezone, preferences).
• All lists and list items you created.
• All reminders, routines, and pending actions.
• All messages you sent through WhatsApp or Telegram and the assistant's replies.
• Cached Google OAuth tokens and Google Calendar sync state.
• Channel mappings — your Telegram chat ID and WhatsApp wa_id — so the bots no longer recognize you.

3. What we may retain

We may retain minimal server logs (timestamps, IP addresses, request paths) for a short period for security, abuse investigation, and legal compliance. These logs are then purged on our standard retention schedule and are never used to rebuild your profile.

4. Disconnect WhatsApp

To stop using HeyAssi over WhatsApp, simply block or delete the HeyAssi WhatsApp number in your WhatsApp app. We will stop receiving and processing your messages immediately.

Blocking the number does not delete the messages you previously sent. To remove that history, also email us at support@heyassi.biz and we will purge your message history along with your account.

5. Disconnect Telegram

Open the HeyAssi Telegram bot and send /stop, or remove the bot from your chat. We stop processing messages from that chat immediately.

As with WhatsApp, removing the bot does not delete your stored message history — email support@heyassi.biz if you also want the history erased.

6. Disconnect Google Calendar

You can revoke HeyAssi's access to your Google account at any time:

1. Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions.
2. Find HeyAssi in the list.
3. Click Remove access.

When you revoke access, our stored Google OAuth tokens become invalid. We delete cached tokens on the next sync attempt and stop reading or writing your calendar.

7. Verifying your identity

To protect your account, deletion requests must come from the email address registered on the account, or from a phone number we can match to your WhatsApp or Telegram identifier. We may ask one follow-up question to confirm ownership before deleting.
